StatPro Regression Add-in for Excel Installation instructions

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MICROSOFT OFFICE 2003: Click here to download the file StatPro, then save it to your desktop and run it accepting all the defaults. Then go to the Excel menu tools/add-ins, and make sure you have the following two items checked off: Analysis Toolpak, and Analysis Tookpak-VBA. Then click "Browse..." and browse to find "StatPro.xla" in the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Officexx\Library\StatPro. Do not select any of the other .xla files in the StatPro folder, just StatPro.xla. Then click "Ok." You should now see the StatPro menu. If you get an error message you may also need to go to Tools/Macro/Security/Security Level and check off "Medium," and then re-start Excel.

Then in Excel click the "Office" button (in the upper-left corner), then "Excel options" and "Add-ins" and "Go..." and make sure you have the following two items checked off: Analysis Toolpak, and Analysis Tookpak-VBA. Then click "Browse..." and browse to find "StatPro.xla" in the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Officexx\Library\StatPro. Do not select any of the other .xla files in the StatPro folder, just StatPro.xla. Then click "Ok." You should now find “StatPro” on the ribbon after clicking the "add-ins" tab. You may need to re-start excel to see the commands.
